Earlier this year, I featured on the blog a beautiful newborn photo shoot of baby Mavi. Seeing Mavi’s photos brought out the sentimental in me and had me longing for the time when Patty was still very little. I shared these sentiments, and how babies grow so fast with Mavi’s mommy, Ivy, over a couple of email exchanges and I knew somehow she felt the same and understood me like most mommies would. Among other things, she also shared her excitement about Mavi’s first birthday party. It was still a little too far ahead at that time, but she knew right then and there that Mavi’s party will be styled by Passion Cooks. With that I knew that this party was going to be fabulous and had me very excited for September, Mavi’s birth month, to come.
A few days ago, I received an email from Mommy Ivy and in that were the wonderful photos from her daughter’s 1st birthday party. I immediately looked through the email and saw that it also included a really nice write-up by Ivy about the party planning, details, and inspiration for the party theme.
I thought this party theme to be pretty, unique, and very timely this rainy season. And while many people associate rain with gloom, I think seeing this party would make them think otherwise as Mavi’s celebration is absolutely bursting with happy, and positive vibes!
See all the wonderful photos below as well as the party details as told by mommy Ivy after the full gallery.
