Ville Sommet Tagaytay Wedding by Nez Cruz

There’s nothing quite like the charm and beauty of an outdoor wedding.  This countryside Ville Sommet Tagaytay wedding is a fine mix of classic and stylish elegance.  There’s a long list of what makes this wedding beautiful – the bride’s Pronovias wedding gown, the chic boutonnieres by {etc} Handmade Goodness, the dreamy and as usual, lovely reception styling by K. by Cunanan Catering, the timeless and pretty bouquet by Vatel Manila, the scenery…oh, the list goes on and on.  Well, we’re lucky enough to see it all through the lens of portrait and wedding photographer Nez Cruz who was able to capture every bit of this special affair.  Arra, the radiant bride, also shared with us their wedding story and heartwarming wedding film by Derek Yee.

From the bride:  We are both based in Singapore but we personally planned and prepared for our wedding ourselves. Every detail was from us. We got engaged last August 2012 and we only had 8 months of preparation. We were able to pull it off because we flew back to Manila/Tagaytay last September, October, November, February and March before going home finally for our wedding last May. We were able to attend bridal fairs in Manila and Tagaytay! Talk about being hands on huh?  So basically we have 0 leave credits now until the end of this year. Hahah! But everything was worth it because for us the day was perfect and we had our dream wedding.

From the initial stages of our wedding planning, my heart’s already set in a soft, dreamy, romantic theme. Nothing too girly but just a subtle touch of femininity and charm. Gratefully, my husband agreed on almost everything. 🙂

My favorite memory was our “First Look” (before the ceremony). I got teary-eyed when he faced me for the first time and really was very happy with our decision to do it specially after seeing the pictures and video after.

His fave memory was when I walked down the aisle. He said he got teary-eyed as well even though I didn’t see it because it was a very long walk from the top to the grassland of Ville Sommet.
